S2 doesn't work in Windows 11

Hello everyone. I'm not sure if my case is first but I hope it's not.

I haven't used my S2 MK2 controller for a while and when I've connected it to my PC with Windows 11 - it doesn't work. The only icon is glowing on the controller is USB. I've connected it to USB of course, I've put in DC and Traktor 2 software detects controller but I can't use my controller - all lights and buttons are dark.

I've connected earphones to the controller and if I play any music in Traktor 2 - there is no sound.

Please help me to determine and fix the reason.

Hello,

you could try to go to the preferences and look if the controller is visible there, added as controller. You could also try the "setup wizard" on the bottom of the preferences and set it all up again.

Yeah it is visible and I've mentioned it before. Regarding wizard - what device I should choose?

Some details I've figured out: I've connected speaks to S2 analog output and music plays so controller is working but without control - all buttons are black.

More info: Traktor software doesn't seem to have any errors with USB or anything else.

On this page if you click next several times does the s2 does not come up down the list? The other option is to look in preferences under controller devices and add it there manually with the "add" button:

Haha. Was about to suggest that! Without the CE installed there is no midi.

Ohh good to know, never thought that you need ce to have midi working with some controllers but I have it always installed.
