It's time to give up, or rather, I've already given up. The best effects and a great workflow, but no one is doing anything to improve it. Waiting and waiting isn't the solution for me. Welcome to Reckordbox and the rest. I feel like I'm a little behind, but other software is already on par with Traktor. It's time to change. Thanks for such great software, but you've left us alone. If Rekordbox or another DJ software suits your needs better it is your choice to change. Have fun with it and many great mixes.

But what do you want to tell the community with your post? (Keep in mind that most users here are just users of NI products just as you and I). What are you exactly missing?

Of course I would wish a quicker release cycle for Traktor - especially more little updates which ease bugs and little quirks much quicker. For myself most things I am really missing are more or less small things which are in most cases are usability improvements.

Real time stems? Yeah would be nice, but do I really want to mix with Stems where I cannot be sure that they are split correctly? Are all vocals are really in the vocals track and is there nothing other essential part of the song in it? To avoid this you have to prepare the track and prelisten it before your set. And once prepared it will be same every single time. If it is created live a software update with changes to the algorithm can change the behaviour.

More hardware support out of the box? Yes would really appreciate this. But NI wants to sell its own hardware. My Kontrol S4 Mk3 doesn't work with Rekordbox or Serato either. And as long as it speaks MIDI you can map EVERYTHING! to Traktor Pro. Traktor works with any audio interface recognized by your computer. A much better approach than the Serato ****** which only works with special blessed holy hardware approved by Serato. You own a Xone:96 with a perfectly capable audio interface in it? Sorry even if you buy our Club Kit license, no way except using a special external audio interface (which are currently only available for up to three decks/channels). Nobody can tell me that there are technical reasons for this. Even rekordbox works with third party hardware!

Newer own hardware offerings? Yes of course, would be nice. F1 Mk2 is still missing. A D2 Mk2 would be great (but will most likely never come). Refreshed versions of S2, S3 and S4 nice. But to be honest I am missing not much on my S4 which wouldn't require to bloat it into oversized monster. (A S4/S8 hybrid would be cool, but S8 was larger anyway and adding jogs would make it even larger. Nothing to take on the road anymore.) And a Traktor Audio 10 Mk2 would be much appreciated by me too. Have a TA10 but if it should break there is no suitable replacement on the market anymore.

Bug fixed and gosh darn better ux around the collection browser would be a start. We also got a long list in idea sub forum that got closed.

He just wants transparency and better communication, like most of us other users do. But when you get to the point where no news are being delivered, no new updates are being publicly shared or talked about and bugs not being taken care of (let alone new features enabled), you get the OP's post.

I left a while ago after 12 years on Traktor, biggest issue was a noticeable (measurable) increase in latency year over year, they keep patching old code and it's a mess, also the hardware durability is poor and search what replacement traktor faders cost…

What happened from that time until now? During that time, I hadn't encountered any problems with Traktor until I finally decided to use the remix decks (which I've never been able to use because they're full of bugs). The limitations of making stems, especially, are that they're very slow.I'm simply tired of seeing how slowly the Traktor people work. While other software advances and practically has nothing to envy Traktor, hardware products seem like toys next to other controllers. People ask and ask, and they simply don't listen, or perhaps they don't care. But like any human being, I have the right to change my mind. Someone here asks what they want. Easy. Let them listen to us because we're the ones who buy their products. But if they listen to us, I'll go somewhere else. I'm already using Reckordbox, and everything works great, including many features that Traktor doesn't have. The only thing I'm missing are some Traktor effects, but nothing I can't overcome. Right now I have Virtual DJ, Serato, and Reckordbox. Traktor isn't listed anywhere in Native Instruments' July news. It's simple: They abandoned us.And I'm abandoning you now. Thanks for your comments; it was a pleasure meeting you. And thanks for years of good software that died.

At least there is still support for TP2 and TP3, both of which have a stable and mostly latency free version (2.6.8 and 3.4.2), which i still use for performance. Progress for TP4 is a lot more sluggish and some of the things you described. I guess i'll keep on using it until it dies; it's still

Just look at what other software offers, and your question will be answered. Also, look at the hardware, and that will answer your question as well.
