With respect to the creators of Traktor

Traktor Pro 4.1 has too many bugs to be a professional DJ software. I am very sorry for saying these words. For many years it has been my favorite software and I have defended it to everyone who considers Serato the best. I don't know what is going on with the creators of Traktor but they can't figure out what is wrong.

  1. Blurry Waveforms These are the situations where it has happened to me.(Connected ti Wi-Fi and loding too many songs repeatedly)(With any controller connected)(And with no reason)
  2. Remix Decks Problems ** Serious Problem and CPU increase **
  3. Efects Problems (Crushing Sounds)(On Delay Efx)
  4. Traktor closes unexpectedly when changing effects.
  5. When you are in a playlist and scrolling down and you get to the end at the bottom it jumps to the beginning at the top. (Kontrol S4 Mk3)
  6. In Freeze Mode the loop goes off the beat.

Traktor is working as if it were a Beta version which is not suitable for playing in public. I hope these problems get fixed seriously because if you who are the creators of Traktor can't fix them then who can? I paid for the upgrade to Traktor 4.0 thinking that a stable version was coming. And I have to use the worst version of Traktor in its history. I hope someone does something or we just have to move to something different. I still have faith but that is coming to an end.

I always perform on my favourite version. There have been a handful of versions in the past i always went back to in live situations, both in TP2 as well as TP3. Sooner or later there will be a version of TP4 that i am happy with.

I can only recommend to not randomly delete or deinstall previous versions you have a license for.

I'm following this type of discussion for some time, started also once by myself. Its hard to take NI serious with everything that we hear and read from people that use it for a long time. People that already have it, they keep going. But new people like me and my friends dont trust it to buy controllers thats locked to traktor legacy pro.

I'm not going to take NI serious anymore. Because, where are the traktor development people / the decision makers or storytellers... dont ignore this! Or be honest

The quarter community announcements creates a feeling of hope.

But in case of NI: hope == delayed disappointment!

I completely get the frustration and agree it's not good enough for "professional" software, though professional doesn't really mean much in dj software, almost all the dj platforms claim to be professional.

Anyway all these platforms have bugs and it's just luck of the draw which bugs will materialise on your individual system. I've had plenty of bugs on various machines with traktor, serato, rb etc. So jumping ship may not help much, in general it's best not to rely on one software, so keep a few versions of traktor installed (the ones that work best) and it's never a bad idea to be active in more than one ecosystem. None of them are reliable all of the time, that's just the nature of these things, kinda sucks but we work with what we've got.
