Hello,

I recently purchased a Maschine MK3 and I am having trouble running the following plugins with it on my MacBook Air (M2 chip, macOS 15.6 Beta):

  • Massive
  • Prism
  • Monark

The plugins either fail to load or show errors when I try to use them inside Maschine. I have installed everything through Native Access, and my Maschine MK3 hardware works otherwise.

Could you please assist me in resolving this issue? Also, let me know if these plugins are fully compatible with macOS 15.6 Beta and Apple Silicon.

Thank you for your support.

Hey there, are you able to open Massive in standalone? Reaktor in standalone? Prism and Monark are Reaktor synths.

What's the exact error message? Can you post a screenshot? Something like this? Maschine Error: "Missing Plug-ins. The following Plug-ins could not be loaded"

Do Maschine, Kontakt & Reaktor have full disk access? How to Enable Full Disk Access on macOS

Yes, Maschine 3.2 and all our programs are compatible with Sequoia.

Hi, thanks for the quick response. Yes, I’m having the loading problem Massive, Prism, and Monark are not working inside Maschine. I didn’t know about the Full Disk Access option, so thank you for the information! I’ll enable that and test again.

Also, can you please confirm which version I should install for my MacBook Air M2? Should I use the Intel version or the Apple Silicon version of Native Access and the plugins?

    Thanks again for your help.

So yes, any M Mac, M1, 2, 3 or 4 means Silicon. Intel Macs are the older generation.

Also it would be good to know the following: What's the exact error message? Can you post a screenshot? Have you tried to open Massive, Reaktor and Kontakt in standalone and with what result?

Hello, I have downloaded the Apple Silicon version of Native Access and installed all the instruments — Massive, Monark, Prism, Chrome Fire, and Maschine Factory Library.

But they were not working inside Maschine; I received an error saying the VST plugins are not working with the Silicon version and might only work in Rosetta mode.

So, I turned on Rosetta mode for Maschine, but now there are not enough sounds or samples to work properly, as you can see in the picture I attached.

Can you please help me make everything fully functional? I would appreciate your guidance.

    Thank you!

What do you mean by not enough sounds and samples to work properly?

Like, I mean, full library. There should be more sounds, but there are not more than 19 sounds

In that image , you have two browser subcategories (Tags) selected , they narrow down the preset search

you have massive (vst) selected , then you have the tag - TYPES = drums , then you have the tag - TYPES = kick

If I do the same , I have 12 presets for massive - drums / kick , but I have a few expansions that came with massive presets , that’s why I have a few more

Did you use to use maschine 2 ?

It should have installed both au and vst 3

Anyhow , via the software, go to settings, goto plugins post an image of the list , so we can see what’s there

You should see , au and vst 3 versions in that list ,

check the locations tabs , then we’ll go from there

You can buy more expansions, but I think you need to get to know how the browser works first

Like I said in your image you have massive selected and some tags , if you uncheck those tags , you should see all of massive presets

To see other vst presets you can select those , but if no vst is selected ( click the X next to “ massive “ in the browser image ) then you can browse the entire list of vst presets for all vst

At the top left of your image , under the maschine logo , you can see library/ files , under that is some icons , projects , groups , sounds , instruments, fx , loops , samples , then a user tab , for selecting your user projects ,, groups sounds etc

You will find maschine drumkits under groups

Maschine sampled instrument presets under sounds , these and groups are typically the maschine library, and maschine expansions

    Vst presets under instruments ,

    Fx preset under fx

Loops and samples , are the raw samples used in the sound presets
