Why is my Komplete Content folder appearing in Komplete Kontrol browser, and how can I fix it?

Hi,
I recently moved my komplete content folder to a new external drive. I believed I had done everything correctly through Native Access as it relocated everything fine, and Kontakt 6 still works as expected,
however when I open Komplete Kontrol or Kontakt 7, it shows my komplete content folder in the browser instead of the individual libraries as it normally should (I'll attach an image of this)
. The other libraries still exist within the folder but it bugs me, and makes searching for sounds impractical. Now looking at other posts on here it seems the mistake I made was to copy over the content folder instead of moving it and that is likely why this is happening, however I can't find any answer as to how I would go about fixing this. I've just tried reinstalling one of the libraries to see if it will recognise it properly but it made no difference.
Any help would be appreciated, cheers.

I think that this usually happens if you move content after installation without following the proper guidelines for moving things (delete content at old location and relocate content using Native Access) and that you rather have just moved something, moved something to the wrong location or moved something and kept old location also.
I am not entirely sure how to get a good overview of things and remedy this.
Be sure to be using latest version of Native Access for your OS
Try exit all applications ,
then reset the Native Access XML file , look at section 8 here : My Product is Missing in Native Access .
then reboot
then reset the KK DB My Komplete Kontrol Browser is Empty or Incomplete
then reinitialize the KONTAKT Database

Cheers for helping me on this, I have a couple more questions. When I looked for the Native Access XML file I couldn't find it in the service centre folder, there is only one file titled "pal.db" (not sure whether I may have deleted the XML file already while trying to fix this). I'd actually already tried resetting komplete kontrol before but it didn't change anything to my knowledge. Maybe I'll have to delete and reinstall all my libraries?

Sorry , I am not sure , I can not remember exactly the way that this were fixed last time (it's has been seen a time or two before).
I will have to ask @Jeremy_NI , could you please remind us how are this fixed ? (Jeremy_NI will not be here before Monday or later)

Something looks definitely off here. There should not be this folder here. How did you move content exactly?
Messing with XML files here is a little premature. First we need to figure out how this folder came to existence here.
Where are your libraries installed on your system when you check in Native Access ? On this Komplete 13 Content folder?

Hi Jeremy,
When I moved the content from the old external drive to this new one I copied everything across (which I now realise you aren't supposed to do) and changed my settings for content/download location in Native Access, and that all still looks correct:
It relocated everything fine from within Native Access, and my Kontakt 6 is working as expected, it's just Komplete Kontrol and Kontakt 7 where this is an issue.

Ok so please reset the database for Kontakt and Komplete Kontrol, following these steps:
Reinitialize the Komplete Kontrol Database
- Note: The User Library folder is hidden. See this article for instructions to access hidden macOS folders.
- Search through the Native Instruments folder at this location to find the Komplete Kontrol folder.
- Delete only the Komplete Kontrol folder found here.
Reinitialize the Kontakt Database
- Hold down the alt key on your computer's keyboard and click Go in the Finder menu bar. Choose the appearing Library entry in the drop-down menu.
- Navigate to Application Support > Native Instruments.
- Depending on the Kontakt version you are using, delete the following folder:
Kontakt 5: "Kontakt 5"
Kontakt 6: "Kontakt"
Kontakt 7: "Kontakt 7"
Kontakt 8: "Kontakt 8"

Path changes that you do in Native Access file management only works for future downloads after that you set it. As far as I know then N.A. will still remember stuff as being at old place unless that you use the relocate function instead. (See my initial post)

Hi,
I've reset my komplete kontrol and kontakt databases but it's still appearing as a folder. I thought I might have found a solution as there were partially downloaded copies of some of the libraries in finder, but I've also deleted those and it still hasn't fixed things.
I have noticed though that there is a folder on my external drive called "Library" which contains receipts files, is it possible that this is in the wrong location?
Thanks
Ollie

I've reset my komplete kontrol and kontakt databases but it's still appearing as a folder.
Problem is that Kontakt and Komplete Kontrol gets some of their information from Native Access so that as long as there is something wrong in how Native Access views things then that will be transmitted to KK and Kontakt. That is why I initially suggested that you reset the N.A. XML first before any reset of KK and Kontakt DB. However then I am not sure if the N.A. XML reset would fix it why I asked for Jeremy_NI's opinion. In theory then what you lack is to re-locate stuff in Native Access but how to get around that when you have first neglected doing that when you should that I can't say for sure.

Can you check with Finder where this Komplete 13 Content folder is located (could be several locations)? What is inside of it? If you check one of the libraries not showing in Kontakt in Native Access, what is the installation path?
The receipts found in the Library folder you mention are at their expected location, it has nothing to do with our issues here and you should leave them how they are.

I've checked finder pretty thoroughly for any potential duplicates and I can't find any, there were some earlier (the partially copied files I mentioned before), but I've deleted all duplicates now. I've looked on native access and it appears that all the installation paths are correct, here are a couple of examples:
They all say the same, which is the location I would expect them to be.

Ok so now if you reset the database for Kontakt and Komplete Kontrol is the folder still showing?

Any idea what I should try next?

We'll need to have a deeper look in your installation, I found a recent ticket of yours that was closed after a couple of weeks without an answer from you. I've re-opened the ticket, please check your inbox.
