Maschine 3 Device CPU Overload, Audio Distortion, and Freezing Issue

Technical setup: Maschine 3 (v3.11) paired with Maschine Plus as a controller. (The same issue occurs with Maschine 2.)

When playing back a project, the device’s CPU overloads and audio distortion occurs. Sometimes, Maschine 3 freezes, and I have to press the power button to the right of the CPU indicator in Maschine 3. The problem happens more often when using the Arturia Jupiter 8000v virtual synthesizer, but it also occurs to a lesser extent when using only Maschine’s built-in instruments.
Meanwhile, the PC CPU is not under heavy load.

I tried changing the ASIO buffer size, but it didn’t help.

Could you please advise how to resolve this issue?

Windows 11 Pro 10.0.26100
Intel core i5 14600kf
RAM 64 GB DDR5
Audio
Driver: ASIO
Device: ASIO4ALL v2
Sample Rate: 44100
ASIO Buffer size: 512

Captured on video the problem of the device's CPU overloading and audio distortion. But I can't post it here. I get the error message: “You have to be around for a little while longer before you can post links.”.

Get rid of ASIO4ALL. You should be using the Maschine MK3 ASIO driver.

Run a latency checker to make sure your computer gives you a clean result.

You may also need to optimise your computer, guides for which can be found online.

watching the video you provided…. im guessing there is disk access causing the slowdown

it could be a software update taking place in the background? Try turning off internet access?

which may not be related to maschine… but it does look like the spikes(disk monitor use) are affecting the CPU… forcing the buffering to play catchup, which is resulting in the glitches..

    but im just guessing here!

@digital16 here's your solution (or at least a big part of it!):

It makes absolutely no sense to have a decent ASIO driver but you use that rubbish ASIO4all…

Also, optimizing your PC for audio, is crucial!
