Removing clicks when changing presets

This ensemble shows how to catch the last value of the output and fade it out slowly to prevent clicks. Then it fades in the next snapshot. Clicks occur when you have a difference of values when quickly changing between snapshots. The larger the difference the louder the click. So by fading out the last value and then fading in the new snapshot the issue is mitigated. You'll need your thinking cap on for this one to see how it works. Note there's a fake value of 1 before any snapshot change for demonstration. The red meter shows what happens to the last value fading out after a snapshot is changed then the fade in brings it back to 1 after it fades in. The audio section is the real one. You can change the speed of the fades with the speed dial.

It basically work as follows: When a new snap shot is selected, a latch holds the last value then the input to the slew limiter receives a 0 and it fades it out. Then the input to the slew limiter switches back to a 1 and it fades back in. The input to the slew limiter come from another ramp generator before it. Ignore the guts of the xr gate, its only use for initialization. Notice it has a 1 on its input. Hope this comes in handy. It was the only way I could stop one of my ensembles from obnoxious clicks when changing patches.
