Hello,

I’m trying to setup my Komplete Kontrol S61 Mk2 keyboard integration with Ableton Live 12, following your instructions on the page "https://support.native-instruments.com/hc/en-us/articles/4406832231441-How-toSet-Up-a-Kontrol-Keyboard-with-Your-DAW", but I’m not succeeding.

I am not able to find the "Komplete_Kontrol_Mk2" folder in **C: > Program Files > Common Files > Native Instruments > Host Integration > Ableton Live** and also unable to find the "Komplete Kontrol VST.adg" file.

Help please! Duran

I have had to remove your PDF because you included you email address, please do not post any kind of personal information including addresses or serials.

On my computer then the Komplete_Kontrol_Mk2 folder in C:\Program Files\Common Files\Native Instruments\Host Integration\Ableton Live is an empty folder , and the DAW control works just fine on my Komplete Kontrol Mk2 keyboard. Also then there is no .adg files in my folder either.

You can try to make an empty folder Komplete_Kontrol_Mk2 to see if that changes anything.

On my working setup then the relevant settings in Ableton Live are the shown below here , else then I do not know if your other devices setup could be blocking the functionality of your keyboard. :

    Hello PoorFellow,

Thank you for your prompt response, that's appreciated! Unfortunately, having followed your instructions, the problem still exists

As I wrote then I do not know if what other controllers that you have attached could disturb communication. Also then not all from Customer Care appear to be around these last few days so alas all I can suggest is the you try asking N.I. Support (all)

    Hello PoorFellow,

I appreciate you getting back to me with some suggestions, but I had already contacted support before posting here, and I was directed to a chatbot that wasn't helpful at all. I'm now hoping that a moderator steps in or that I get a decent response from NI support

    Thanks anyway!

    .

Alternatively if not happy with N.I. support then you can also try Ableton Live support.

The article says you just do this for Ableton 12:-

What you are trying to do, i.e. the 4 steps, is only applicable to Ableton 9?

    Hello BJQ1972

Thank you for stepping in, and indeed, I followed the instructions for Ableton 12 as well. I understand that if all is working well as it should, I should be able to use my S61 to browse and choose items from the library whilst in Ableton and the controls on the S61 should be able to the volume on the channels. And Komplete Kontrol should be available in the Instrument Rack. At least that's how it worked in the past with my old version of Ableton. I'm attaching some pictures

Komplete Kontrol won't be in the instrument rack - it should appear as a VST in the same folder as Kontakt. Try opening Komplete Kontrol as a VST, and then open Kontakt from within that.
