    It's annoying that in certain cases, even symbolic links won't work, but with something that pulls in images during runtime, it's best to keep things on a fast drive (and best that your internal drive is the fastest).

    yeah , my ext is a m2 ssd drive with usbc enclosure , I think the problem was , those folders were the old resources folder that must of got copied over when I moved all the libraries over , when I read the install instructions, I see shared folder and immediately thought of the one on the ext drive.
