What happens when you open the komplete kontrol software ?
Open it and go to - settings / midi and check the boxes for the ports (input/output

Nothing happens, but I can't play the keyboard… there are no sounds.

… and as I answered "Uwe and more people" as well - I did. As for thhe rest of your suggestions I've also done that. Next, please…

You need to confirm what you did rather than giving a dismissive answer such as this. Also you are not even giving the answer to any person but just generally dismiss everything - you did it all - next.

Well… I percieved your answer the same, thus my response.

Then please get N.I. Komplete Kontrol Support to help you fix the problem.
In case that you need guidance contacting support : How to contact NI Support and How to get in touch with our Customer Care .

Ohh and i forgot to ask an obvious question, do you see all those devices in your device manager? If not report that too to support. Hope you´ll get it all sorted.

As you can see, there is no keyboard so I've contacted the support desk. Let's see how long it takes for them this time. It's another tune when they want to sell something. But when the same things don't work, they're slower than snails.

Well… this far they haven't succeded. Have tried everything, changed the USB-contacts on my computer, the cables themselves, reinstalled Native Access and Komplete Kontrol and nothing is helping. The keyboard was working as late as January. After that I hardly touched it until now in May and it won't start - at all. I can only guess what's happened, but as I'm not a technician and not have the same knowledge and expertise as you guys, I'm at a loss here cluthing after straws.

As I suggested to another user recently - the best way I have found to quickly rule out hardware - is to test ALL your USB ports with USBTreeView from here:
Make sure your MKIII is unplugged. Fire up this utility - it is standalone, safe and once it is up and running - will give you a nice visual into ALL your USB ports.
Then plug in your MKIII to an actual USB port on the machine (not on a hub) and see if USBTreeView picks it up. If you see the keyboard appear in the tree - you know that USB port is functional.
Conversely - If you plug in the board into a bunch of ports - and USBTreeView sees nothing - you have hardware (and possibly inadequate power) issues.
Report back with an update on what you see there.

Tried the last suggestion but can't make any sense of the software for testing the USB-ports. Anyway, I've sent the keyboard back to Thomann. I've also purchased a Mac Studio M4. I don't know if that will cause problems as well. Guess there's a flip side in any platform. Had it with PC-problems for now. At least my old Arturia KeyLab 61 is working.
