How can I buy Izotope RX 10?

My machine can't use an os higher than MacOS 11.7.10 and RX 11 needs MacOS 12.

I've been using RX 10, but my trial ended. I'd like to buy RX 10. The Product Portal only shows RX 11 as an option to buy.

How can I buy RX 10? A manual authorization would be great, so then I can avoid potential pushed upgrades by the Product Portal.

you'd have to buy it second hand and sort out a license transfer - we no longer sell RX 10

How does a license transfer work? Is there just one license for both RX 10 and RX 11? If so, couldn't I just buy a license for an RX 11 to authorize my current copy of RX 10?

Google's AI says no, the licenses are version specific.

That is not how it works. Support and sales on one version end immediately when a new version appears. Espeically when it comes to iZoTope stuff.

If it were me - I would focus my efforts on getting my computer current and not so much on what old version of RX to try to roll back to.

Support for OS11 was retired years ago - your challenges with trying to find old "supported" software will only continue to magnify the longer you hold back on an upgrade.

Brother, you're telling me! I gotta do this audio job tho, so I think I should look into getting a new computer after that.

It is pretty frustrating tho, considering that MacOS 11.7.10 is less than 2 years old and is already getting left behind. I can't even edit footage from the Blackmagic Cinema Camera 6k even tho it came out the same month as 11.7.10. I can even play it back, but I can't edit it!! Arghhh!!

Anyway, I'll step off my soapbox.

I was able to get a trial of RX 10 going on my laptop, so I'll work with that for now.

Anyone know how long the trial lasts for??

Well - to be fair - Mac OS 11 was retired on Nov 30 2023 but released on June 22, 2020 - so it's 5 years old. Updates do not necessarily translate into a supported level or increase in lifespan.

I believe the trial lasts 30 days.
