What about fixing the deck locked issue, it's only been around for 12 years or so?

My guess is that it is buried deep in the old code which nobody wants to touch or something. The cry for help to repair this issue has become background noise.
New gear→new bugs→new bugfixes.
Old gear→old bugs→no fixes.
The team is too small. Traktor→low investment, compared to the rest of NI ecosphere.
We should have an FAQ answering those questions. They are frequent and always seem to have the same answer. None.
Uncheck 'only load into stopped decks' and practice not accidentally loading a track onto a running deck. Best workaround.

It's nice when NI changes something. They should then explain how to use the new feature. I figured it out by accident.

There is a problem with Traktor Pro 4.2. If i check a playlist for consistency and then choose relocate on a track nothing happens. Another user reported freezeing. Please check this and fix this quick

No such issue in Windows.
It is probably, once more, a "Mac" thing (again)… or some mistake by the user maybe? it makes no sense as he described it… We choose "relocate" for missing tracks, not for moving tracks between playlists (if i understood correctly what he means)…
Anyway, guys, this is an announcement thread. For reporting problems please create your own posts. It is easier for everyone. 😉

Im speechless at the rate Serato, Algo & VDJ are advancing. Even Reckordbox is exponentially growing.
Personally with so much muscle memory wrapped up in using Traktor 20+ years (not to mention time spent mapping), i'm moving on. I held out. I paid for the upgrade. Traktor just can't compete. Not even close. There is nothing to hold onto. I'm out.
I'm sorry to say this. I'm sure others feel the same way, leaving everyday.
Its heartbreaking to watch. Just heartbreaking.

In any case, it's a shame that the guys at ni obviously only work for the generation over 60... you'd think that we don't need any more innovations... welcome to the league of the gray panthers

This issue was present on macOS in TP4.1, too.
Although this is an "announcement" thread it is legit to post bugs here, because we still have no bug report thread for TP4. (But a prominent bug report thread for the outdated 3.11 version….) Also, nobody from NI is observing the issue/bug threads of users.
The problem is, on Mac many users rely on music.app which organises the music folders and its locations. You change an artist name, music.app changes the path. Then, Traktor´s consistency check reports missing files. No problem when relocation works. But at the moment, Traktor freezes completely when relocating tracks. The only way is to restart Traktor, delete the "missing" tracks from collection, re-import the tracks and re-sort the tracks in all their playlists. So, pleaasseee, we need a hot fix for this issue!

Yes, it is absolutely OK to report bugs here of course. However, a comment can be "lost" in such threads, get unnoticed or easily overlapped by 10 new comments. But a separate thread, is always accessible, thus is more easy to be found. …and it always get an answer! 😉

This Update ****** up my whole traktor collections, which is now shown as corrupt. NICE! The native access software wanted to update itself to. It did, but well it stopped midway and just uninstalled the old version, while not installing the new one. I got two pieces of software that do not work. NICE WORK, everyone!
URGENT: I need the old traktor 4.1.1 back. That one worked. How and where can I download that?0
