Ghosts of NI Products Past

With an extended session of rooting through directories looking for remnants, the VST version of Super 8 is no longer on my Updates page asking for a "Repair."

Here's where things get weird. Super 8 (VST version) is still showing up in the Library, despite every attempt to clear it out. But do you what else is showing up in the Library? "Abbey Road 60s Drums" (NOT "Drummer"), "Akoustik Piano," and "Elektrik Piano 1.5".

How do I finally purge these ghosts from the Library?

If you are sure you deleted all components of those VST/libraries from your computer (vst2, vst3, AU, AAx, installation folders,…) and you really don’t want them, try a rescan in the program (Standalone version) still showing them (btw: which one? You named Library..but of which program? Kontakt? Komplete Kontrol? Maschine?).

And eventually also a database deletion (to make it rebuild).

Out of curiosity: are those items still loading? Or they just appear in the library but they don’t work?

Have you tried the instructions for the "non-content products" and for "Content Files (only for Native Access 3.5 and below)" ?
