Is this Normal for new Purchased product?

Hello bwsmooth, as it's mentioned above by Jeremy_NI, the Kontakt 8 requires macOS 13 or higher to work with it. Do you have chance to update your operating system to a compatible operating system that can work with Kontakt 8?

Finally managed to install and it shows and works for me.
Make sure you have Kontakt 8.2
Make sure it has full disk access (one thing I noticed is I had to grant that again after updating to 8.2)
The problem was on the download, and they fixed overnight this morning it had no problems
Make sure you have installed Kontat 8.2 in Native Access. If the library is still not showing up, get in touch with our support.
I just made a bad experience with the NI support.
It should be written clearly and visible below the product, that you need 10.13 or higher to install Kontakt 8.2. and claire avant. If you look at the system requirements → Kontakt 8 requirements written below claire avant it says 10.12 or higher.

I can simply not reproduce anywhere what you claim. I can only find places where the System Requirements is listed correctly (macOS 12, 13, and 14 (latest update))

Sorry, I mixed up OS 10.12 and OS 12 …..
If you scroll down you find the System Requirements. And I found the same as you: OS 12, 13, and 14 (latest update). At the moment, I'm using OS 12. However, claire avant does'nt work under OS 12, as you need to intall Kontakt 8.2 wich requires OS 13.
This is not clear from the information.
It's a fault. No problem for me, but I would expect an apology and something like "what can we do now?" Instead they closed the chat.
@gruwi You mention you have a M1 Ultra on your profile. That seems strange that you can not update your operating system. I would understand for older models. Is there a block on your computer? You should be able to update at least to MacOs 13.
Hi Jeremy, yes, I could update, but I'm working with some tricky outboard and so I don't want to do a system update when I'm in the middle of a project. That's why I take a special look at the system requirements before I buy new software.

What's your operating system? The issue for @gruwi was that the library requires Kontakt 8.2, Kontakt 8.2 requires MacOs 13 as a minimum.
Mac Studio 2022, M1 max, Monterey 12.6. Logic 10.7.9. just bought claire avant and reeds/duo EP's last night. Been up most of last night and today trying to get it to work. NA says it's installed but does not show up in Logic Pro, or Kontakt 8.
tried deleting .plist, relocated 31+ gb, Reinstalled, Relocated, Redownloaded, Reinstalled, made sure the paths were correct and SN's in. I've tried many of the things…no go.
I just ran across this thread, looks like glitch is still there. I've got a whole lot of plugins but these are not opening. Thanks
