Beach ball help-should I upgrade to an M4 MacBook Pro-14 or 16? beach balling currently?

I have Traktor Pro 3 on a 2019 Touchbar MBP i9 9900/Radeon GPU (about 2 weeks before the 16” launch)

Traktor 3 is SUPER slow on search-beach balling badly when I swap sources or playlists-I’m guessing partially because of the iCloud storage thing I can’t seem to fix yet. Would the upgrade to Traktor Pro 4 and a new MacBook help?

You can download the TP4 demo and try it? It won't affect the installation of TP3. https://www.native-instruments.com/en/products/traktor/dj-software/traktor-pro-4/free-trial/

Is all your data local? If you're letting MacOS offload data to iCloud when you're low on space that will cause problems. The setting for this is "Optimise MAC storage" in the iCloud section of System Preferences. Make sure it's turned Off

Thanks so much for the help.
I’ll give it a go. Currently trying to figure out how to get ALL my MP3s in one spot and backed up to a hard drive.

I used GoodSync for backing up my music collection to an external drive. That was on a PC, but the Mac version works as well. Or possibly use Time Machine?
