Kontakt 5 quits and is set to demo mode....
Well, title says it all….was working on an old project and suddenly Kontakt 5 quits and is set to demo mode.
The ' activate'- button doesn't do anything….

Hi, long story short….finally got everything working again…some plugins are still in demo mode when using Kontakt 5, but not when loaded into a newer version or when using Komplete Kontrol, so I will leave it this way….
Btw…I can't use 3.4.1 with my S25 Mk1….
About AVG: I don't think that caused the problem…0

If you're on a Silicon Mac and want to open a DAW project that was started on an Intel Mac, you will need to run your DAW in Rosetta mode: How to Open Your DAW Using Rosetta
You'll need to apply this as well: GUITAR RIG 5, KONTAKT 5 and SUPER 8 R2 Open as Demo Versions on Apple Silicon / M-Systems
If that doesn't help, more info would be cool. Is it the same for all your old projects?
Is it the same if you open a blank project when in Rosetta mode and trying to load Kontakt 5?

If problem has been caused by 'cleaner' program then an uninstall followed by a reinstall of affected apps and libraries ought to fix the problem.

Still checking…at some point everything was complete chaos….as if anything loaded in Kontakt 5 or Komplete Kontrol got stuck in a feedback loop.
Also strange: in Native Access I saw a different version of KK than the version I use….now busy deleting and reinstalling….to be continued.

What happens now is even worse….at first I thought everything was kinda OK now…some plugins in demo mode, but only in old projects where I used Kontakt 5 for example…not a big deal as most project use newer versions.
But now…every project I'm working on (or ever worked on) with instances of Komplete Kontrol show this picture…everything has just vanished….not even the used plugin is shown…let alone the settings…(?!)
How can this be???😕

Do you remember what Kontakt libraries you were using? Can you check id these were updated in the past months/years? That might have broken compatibility. You can check that in Native Access release notes for each product.
Did you uninstall AVG Tune Up and trierd reinstalling some products? Or have you found a way to whitelist all NI programs?
The screenshot you're showing looks like Komplete Kontrol 2.xx. Was the same happening in the latest version of Komplete Kontrol, 3.4.1?
And by the way, what DAW are you using?

The S-Series MK1 keyboards has been declared EOL by Native Instruments which means that S88 MK1 is not supported by the newer versions of Komplete Kontrol. Please see this post for explanation.
