Yes but what about the Kontakt plugin?

I can't imagine having to change the settings for Maschine. After all, everything works perfectly in Logic Pro. This can only be a bug in Native Instruments.

(If you're reading this, NI, please fix it.)

Did you check the version number for the Kontakt plugin you are loading in Maschine?

@Johannes You still didn't reply to one important question. Are you trying to load projects that were made on an Intel MAc, yes or no? Do you have any issues when creating a brand new project (not in Rosetta mode).

I see for example this Kontakt with no version number. That is Kontakt 6, Kontakt 6 was discontinued before Apple Silicon existed, so it will always require Rosetta.

For other not NI plug-ins you can't open, that might be the same. Please check with the plugin manufacturer if they are natively supported or if they require Rosetta. If they do then yes you'll need to use Rosetta mode.

Thank you Jeremy, yes, the same problem appears when i start a brand new empty project, maybe i should erase konatkt 6 and 7?

But by now it works all fine in rosetta mode…….

As I said, make sure that all the plug-ins you want to use in your projects are natively compatible with Silicon Macs. For example, this is for our products: Apple Silicon Compatibility News

If you want to use Kontakt 6 you need Rosetta, there is no way around it.

    Dear Jeremy,

as i said many times before, there is no way to load any NI-Instrument in Maschine3 if it´s not opened in rosetta mode.

I did not open any old project, because i´ve got the Maschine Mikro MK3 just two Weeks ago, and even if i load any example included in Maschine 3, there can no NI-Instrument like Massive etc. be loaded.

All of my plugins from NI are the latest versions, Native Access is updated etc, etc….

And i only use NI-Instruments and plugins.

As i said, there is no Problem loading any instrument or plugin in Logic Pro - so my conclusion is clear.

I´ve tried it many times and now i read on the box of maschine Mikro MK3 that the systm requirement is an IntelCore i5-processor.

My Computer is a MacMini from 2024 (M2pro chip, 32GB Ram, 1TB Disk).

I can hardly believe, that i´m the only one who´s got this problem.

I think, an update for Maschine3 and M2pro-chips (and maybe newer?) is necessary.

And even if NI thinks, Maschine 3 is compatible with M2pro chips, they´re obviously wrong!

    greetings

read on the box of maschine Mikro MK3 that the systm requirement is an

    IntelCore i5-processor

That’s because the box is old

You still have not posted a screenshot of the about screen for the plugin of Kontakt you are loading in KK in Rosetta mode. Logically it can only be an Intel version so is probably Kontakt 6 not 8. If you were running a version of Kontakt in Maschine that was compatible with Apple Silicon (ie 7 or 8) you would not be having this problem

We haven't seen similar reports. Our products are compatible with M2, M3, M4, there haven't been drastic changes since M1 were introduced.

As @Kymeia outlined, we would need to know exactly which plug-in you are trying to load and what format.

Again, some plugins will always require Rosetta, since VST2 is abandoned by Apple (and Steinberg btw), if you have used or want to use VST2 plug-ins, again Rosetta is required. You can use this article to see which ones are concerned: Apple Silicon Compatibility News

For Kontakt libraries or Reaktor ensembles, make sure that this box is ticked:
