NI Session Pianoist
NI session guitarists and bassists are very popular.
In fact, session pianists will also be very popular. There are many different techniques for playing the piano, and they can play different types of music, such as pop, HIPHIP, DANCE, and FUNKY. So, is it possible for NI to launch a more popular session pianist? Are you looking forward to it?

I already have my "session player" - EZKeys2 - but I do love the Session Series - the more the merrier I say!

The logic of EZKeys2 is different from SESSION.
I think SESSION is more popular! Input chord progression in DAW and play SESSION PATTERN. There are many very popular and fashionable PATTERN styles.I don't like the design of EZKEY2. I will use EZKEY2 to write chords, but let SESSION GUITAR make the sound in the end.
I also hope to make SESSION PIANO do this, please release it soon

FWIW - without knowing what a "Session series" piano could do (but I have a pretty good idea) - EZKeys2 (as of this writing) is far and away more popular and much more advanced than any Session piano could be.
From its hundreds of thousands of patterns, phrases to Bandmate, built in MIDI expression editor, standalone Recording timeline, full manual input - all customizable, interchangable and draggable to your favorite DAW - it cannot be touched by any Session instrument.

So, is it possible for NI to launch a more popular session pianist?
N.I. constantly develops new Kontakt libraries including keys and if N.I. thinks that it will sell well then of course it is possible that N.I. could make a Session Pianist/Piano 🙂

The various midi in ezkey2 are very backward, not modern, and cannot be used directly.
If you have used SESSION guitar, you will find that the content in SESSION is very modern! Very fashionable!
Ezkey2 does have a lot of sounds, but the sounds are very ordinary.
Although ezkey2 has a lot of midi, the rhythm is not good, and it is not what modern music looks like.I can use session guitar to quickly create great rap songs and KPOP. But EZKEY2 can't do that. I only use EZKEY2 to write chord progressions.
In short, I hope Session piano will come soon.

And do remember - the Session Series is not produced by NI - it is done by a third-party called Galaxie Instruments. If a piano is ever a reality - it would need to start there.

Apologies - - I was mistaken. Galaxie does all the big keyboards already for NI (Claire, Noire, Piano Colors etc)
The Session Series is produced by Drumasonic and marketed/distributed by Native Instruments.
