MK1 hardware isn't officially supported anymore after Catelina, and from your profile it looks like you have Ventura. It might be possible to get it to work, but you'd need to have the Maschine 2 software which I'm not sure you can buy anymore. @Jeremy_NI will know for certain.

The MK1 is just fine with the Maschine 2 software. And is supported on Ventura.

Assuming you have registered the MK1 hardware to your NI acct - Maschine 2 software should be available for you within Native Access to install.

Hi thanks for your answer I signed up on the native site with user name and password, but I don't know how to register the product. I'm not the original purchaser.

I have the machine mk1 beside me now . I can see the serial number, but do not know where to put it.

The original owner (presumably the seller) needs to transfer the license to you.

    Correct.

Without an actual product transfer - to your NI acct - this may end up being a fancy paperweight.

Before we get there tho - suggest you download Native Access and login with your NI credentials.

You can enter serials into Native Access but a hardware serial may be drastically different than the usual software codes.

If that fails or gives you an error about the product being previously registered - you have major trouble and will need to contact support.

Not entirely sure, but the last time I tried to get my Mk1 to work, I couldn’t find a driver to be installed on macOS newer than 10.14 (Mojave).

@drewP Maschine 3 does not support MK1 devices and we don't sell Maschine 2 anymore. Please get in touch with our registration support here: https://bit.ly/n1acc and see what your options are.

@drewP please do not create duplicate discussions with the same subject.

It is not helpful to you, neither you will get a "faster" response. On the contrary, it confusing, especially if there are users that already provide you will good answers. …and it's against forum rules too. :-)

I merged the 2 discussions to one.
