In Native Access, why does "Locate Product Content" fail?

In Native Access, when I choose "Maintenance" and then "Locate Product Content", the software finds no products in the "Users/Shared" directory specified in "Settings" (where they are in fact installed). I have also installed libraries on an external drive in a directory named "NI Libraries." The result at that location is the same. Hard to see how any "Maintenance" is possible when the software can't see the products…
In other words, "Locate Product Content" cannot locate any products at all. Does anyone have ay insight?
Running OSX 14.7.1. and Native Access 3.16.
Is is time to give up on NI support? On November 24th, the "chat assistant" typed:
"Currently, there is no agent available. We have created a ticket for you and will get back to you as soon as possible via email."
As you might imagine, no email has been sent. Am I missing something here?

Well, the last communication was from my colleague from January 3rd and it looks like you never replied. After a while without a response from you, a ticket gets automatically closed. These features work for most users, so some troubleshooting would be needed, but it can't be done without you. Let me know if you want me to create a new request so my colleague can continue the troubleshoot?

sigh
Suddenly now I did receive an email with a ticket number after updating the chat window by typing "I received no email". But still no solution…

Wish I had an answer, because I have the same issue with 'locate product content" and am wondering if it's related to still other issues I have with Logic Pro giving me error messages ("xxx.nki could not be loaded. The file format is not supported or corrupt") when trying to load instruments there via Kontakt 7/8. Frustrating - just want to make music! :)

@adambrower I see that my colleague replied to you this morning, please check your inbox and get back to him. As you may have noticed, we're in the middle of a big sales special so unfortunately it impacts our reply times, sorry for the wait.

Having the same issue with Lo-fi Vibe…
In Native Access, why does "Locate Product Content" fail?Help!

are you pointing to the exact folder? Or the folder where all the libraries are?

Is it only for Lo-Fi Vibes?
If it's only for that one, then no worries, it's a known issue. Lo Fi Vibes is a Leap expansion that is automatically installed when you install Kontakt 8. It's just a cosmetic bug in Native Access.

Yes fortunately it's only Lo-Fi Vibe. What's the fix?
Thanks for responding.😀

There is no fix at the moment, simply ignore the message in Native Access.

Why, then, does NI not simply remove the fictional "Maintenance" option and release an update?
What is the point of a command that must be ignored?

There will be a fix in the future. The Maintenance section is something else.

I have the same problem and wasted a lot of time. It is mid February and there is no fix. I have reinstalled one library and it works but remaining 100 Gigs is not recognized.

This thread is quite old and people jumped in with various symptoms, there is no broad issue or bug, it's user system related most of the time.
First thing to check is the format of your external hard drive, on a Mac, it should be APFS, as explained in this article: Notes on Hard Drive Formats on Mac Computers
I don't see any support request from you, I would suggest to contact my colleagues here: https://bit.ly/NI_support_NA

@Jeremy_NI, to be fair, this issue is still unresolved. I worked with NI support for several days. We investigated many possible causes of the malfunction (even looked at a trailing space in the volume name!) without finding a cause or a fix. The software simply can't "see" installed instruments. I hope someone at NI will get to the bottom of this someday, but to date there has been no solution. As of now, "Maintenence" is a dead command.

Is there a folder named "Lo-Fi Vibes" or "Lo-fi Vibes" in the new location? Try renaming "Lo-Fi Vibes" folder to "Lo-fi Vibes" (with lower-case "f") and see if it helps?
