Kontakt making Logic session bog down

When using Kontakt in Logic, it takes forever to save a project. When I remove Kontakt it's back to normal. Kontakt app flickers as well

I am currently experiencing a similar issue and i has made it impossible to do anything on Logic. Projects are crashing and Kontakt and Komplete instruments are playing out of synch and them the playback crashes. Saving and opening projects is also taking long especially from my portable SSD, which was working well until I installed Komplete 15. I heard of the Kontakt 8.2 bug fix which doesn't show up on my Native Access. So I have Dm'd @Jeremy_NI to ask for help resolving this issue as it's currently a nightmare after just buying and installing Komplete 15 in January.

There was a Kontakt 8.2 update fixing an issue with longer saving times. Have you updated? Do you still experience this issue?

Sorry we don't do support in the DMs on the forum but I can try here. First of all Kontakt 8.2 requires MacOS 13 as a minimum, if you're on Monterey then your system is not supported, it might be time to update to MacOS 13.
The symptoms, like crashing, look a bit different than this specific issue. Let's see if it could come from something different.
Do Kontakt, Logic and Native Access all have full disk access? How to Enable Full Disk Access on macOS
Are your libraries installed on an external hard drive? What's the format of the drive? On Mac it should be APFS.
If you experience crashes, follow these steps: Kontakt Crashes

@Jeremy_NI Thanks for your response. As I’m working with a 2015 Mac OS Monterey, it would appear that Kontakt 8.2 will not be possible for me. Kontakt 15 which I purchased is supposed to work on Monterey, so I hope NI will work towards resolving this issue for us. That said, I’d hope that my only other option is not going to buy a new iMac and that NI can help resolve this issue in a different way. I checked yesterday and discovered that full disk access was not granted to NI, which I rectified accordingly to the steps in the link you provided. My hard drive is a 4TB Fusion Drive inside the machine and all my NI library are on this drive,
After granting full disk access and restarting my computer and loading the project, the tracks playback is still wonky and it’s specifically from the NI tracks. My CPU is spiking and then I either get the “disk too slow” crash message or the “i/o buffer and multithread” crash message.
I have adjusted my i/o to 1024, the highest and multithread is set to playback only (not playback and live tracks). Please advise on how to proceed. Thanks.

The Kontakt 8.2 addresses long saving times, your symptoms seem to be a little different.
What is the format of the external hard drive? On Mac, it should be APFS, as explained in this article: Notes on Hard Drive Formats on Mac Computers
