Kontakt on iPad [feature request]

Hi
Now in 2025 there are too many professional instruments working on iPad ..
I want kontakt to use it on iPad !!!
when it will be ready for iPad ?

    Hey Hatem, we are exploring other platforms, but don’t have anything concrete to share at this time. Kontakt might not be the best suited for iPads anyway, it's mostly sample libraries that are quite large for such devices.

    There are already sample libraries on iPad (Soundbox and Decent Sampler, to name two). But I can see the doubts about iPads storages being small.

    But…are you aware that iPad apps (if so developed) can install and access sample libraries/presets/expansions on external SSDs? And that nowadays iPad models with 1Tb storage exist? (Although very expensive)

    Yeah I know that. Still, our libraries go from a few GBs to 80Gbs. For work I need a 4Tb drive now! I know you can add external storage but that would mean a smaller customer base, I imagine. I'm not really in a position to make decisions on that matter anyway, I'm just forwarding the feature request to the team and share their reply on the topic.

    These are more realistic explanations (is there a sustainable market?).

    I was just pointing at storage not being the main reason. As you say, we need very large drives on computer too by now. Which can be used on iPads too.

    In any case, like I said in my first post, I can’t see anything (even similar) coming, seen the treatment NI reserved to iPads lately.

    The abandoning of the very little NI already had on iPad (iMaschine and Traktor, Traktor Kontrollers compatibility) is a clear sign to me.

    Hope to be proved wrong

    Kontakt on Cubasis is an obvious one. But it better have crossgrades (at worst) and free access (at best) for Komplete owners.

    Hi

    Actually I have my Arabic library sample like Accordion , trumpet, qanon , arabic organ ……….
    and I wish use them throughout iPad

    i have too all Swam library violin , cello , ….. on iPad too they have arabic scale (quarter tone) so I can use them in Arabic music …

    I have my NI instruments too ….

    I want use all this on iPad on life show

    Did you know how much musicians will buy Kontakt to use it on life show on iPad ?

    I am one of them 😉

    Now every musicians use iPad on there’s life show , me too

    So please thinking ok this successful idea

    Uuuh please no…☺️

    If it ever gets realized, it should be AuV3 and available for all hosts… not one of those “exclusive to” we had back in the days (see FabFilters plugins exclusive to Auria Pro, that then, luckily, have been released as AuV3s).

    Even Steinberg itself released Iconica Sketch with an “embedded” version in Cubasis but also the AuV3 version so that anyone using other hosts could profit of it. And Korg gave AuV3 treatment to their Gadgets.

    I think when Jeremy talked about “exploring other platforms” he was referring to “general” platforms (iPads, other tablets, bread toasters (😂),…), not specific ones like Cubasis instead of NanoStudio instead of Zenbeats,…

    If you want to go down that road then I think that IK Multimedia's Sampletank for IOS deserves a honorable mention at least 😁

    Anyway , for a company like N.I.which is heavily investing in Windows and Mac OS software then moving into IOS could still be a relatively big task to do with maybe only little income for a lot of work unless it were done the very right way from the start (which will take a lot of careful market research and planning to pull off)

    Obviously I mean standards like AuV3, but Cubasis is an obvious partner to show a use case.
