Komplete Kontrol (version 3.3.2) does not support Kontakt 8?

No one asked for steps until now so how could you expect me to provide those? The OP was wanting to know if Kontakt 8 is compatible with Komplete Kontrol 3 - it is. Basically open Komplete Kontrol and load your Kontakt libraries inside that, you can clearly see them in the browser and once loaded they will show the same controls on the keyboard as they would if it was Kontakt standalone in MkIII. If you don't know how to do this I suggest reading the manual.

I can only see one screenshot in that thread and it is not an answer to anything - it was a question about something the poster was confused about

The op asked how it works with the MK2 controller (88 keys). For instance you attempt to load Kontakt 8 into the MK2 keyboard it is greyed out. Telling people to RTFM is useless, and referring back to “The same way” is also not helpful.

Which is why several people now have said you need to load Kontakt 8 in Komplete Kontrol - by selecting the libraries in the KK browser and loading them. Up until the MKIII keyboards Komplete Kontrol was and is the only interface between NI keyboards and plugins (and Maschine to a point) - including Kontakt. That is how to access the params in the various Kontakt libraries with the keyboard controls. And by the way referring back to “The same way” is entirely helpful, it indicates that if you are already used to using the keyboard and Komplete Kontrol for loading Kontakt libraries then that is also the way that you load Kontakt 8, learning something new is always easier if it builds on prior knowledge. However if you want more detailed step by step instructions or perhaps are a complete beginner, then yes, read the manual, that is what it is for.

Kontrol S MK2 never had Direct Connection, and still doesn't.
It has always required you to load Kontakt in Komplete Kontrol, and still does.

Do you have any plans to make the multis and leaps presets available as NKS presets within Maschine and KK?
