Ramp wave , sync input triggered by value module

This is supposed to be pretty straight forward .

In the first screenshot , the ramp wave sync input is triggered by gate , which gives a perfect restart of the rampwave (screenshot 1,1.1,)

But when I use the value module triggered by the gate ( last 2 screenshots ) it never retriggers on sync .(screenshot 2,2.2 ) , altought the outgoing value of the value module is exact as the gate value

Not good
