Komplete 15 missing Kontakt 8

I purchased Komplete 15 mainly for the upgrade to Kontakt 8, as it was a good price for the extras. But I can not find Kontakt 8 in Native Access to install, and it's not listed in my products in my account (only Komplete 15, whatever that means). How do I find and install Kontakt 8? Thanks in advance.

After installing Kontakt 8 manually (thanks @PoorFellow), Native Access completly fried. It only showed a handful of my products and all without images, complained about missing content without specifying what, and then re-scanned endlessly. I finally went to re-install Native Access and dicovered Native Access 2, which I installed and now all is well.

I suspect if I had Native Access 2 installed originally, the missing Kontakt 8 issue may not have occured. I hope Native Instruments takes note. Kind of a sh@tshow, this frustrating purchase and install of Komplete 15 Standard (I'm still trying to sort out 3rd party products). I'll be hesitant in the future.

That your account only lists Komplete in your products is normal. This entry unlocks all of the complete bundle. Do other contained products of Komplete 15 show up in Native Access? Which operating system and which version of that are you using? If you are using a Mac Kontakt 8 requires at least macOS 13. If you still use an older version of macOS Kontakt 8 isn't compatible.

Thanks for the reply. I do see the other products included with Komplete, but not Kontakt 8. I'm on Windows 11 Pro version 10.0.26100

If you have Kontakt Player 8 installed then try uninstalling that first , then reboot then see if that makes Kontakt 8 appear. Else try resetting the Native Access XML file to see if that makes any difference , look at section 8 here : My Product is Missing in Native Access.

Else then uninstall Kontakt 8 Player

Then run the N.I. reg tool and remove Kontakt 8 if there

Then reboot

Then download KONTAKT 8.1.0 and install that (in case of a download problem then log in to Google first and/or copy to own Google drive first)

Thanks for this… going through your list.

Resetting XML did not work.
Deleted Kontakt (6) since I don't use it, and deleted the Kontakt Application (whatever that is). But I still only see Kontakt 7 in Native Access INSTALLED, and there is still not Kontakt 8 anywhere in Native Access.
Interesting option to download Kontakt 8 and install manually. I hope this will not complicated Native Access somehow.

Also , since you do not specify then I have to , for you to get Kontakt 8 full version then you will have to have bought Komplete 15 Standard or higher tier, Komplete 15 Select does not come with Kontakt 8 full version.

But if you have Kontakt 15 Standard or higher tier and the above did not work then please contact N.I. Native Access and Installation Support .

Yes, I ought to have inquired about that too , for some reason I just took it for granted in your case that you had just downloaded and installed Native Access. Sorry about that, but at least we got you there.

You always need latest version of Native Access for you to be sure that things works that is by design and not going to change.

I'll be hesitant in the future.

Native Instruments supports it's products so they will help you get stuff working.
