Maschine+ as an interface

Are you on PC or Mac?

Sorry I forgot, on the PC

Storage mode doesn't work either. The device is not displayed even though the drivers are installed.

I mean, is it possible to record all the tracks individually in Studio One, like with the MC707 from Roland, for example? To do that, the machine would first have to be recognized as an interface, right? Or does that only work with this Maschine software?

Install the driver. Select Maschine Plus ASIO in your software.

Yes, it would be so nice if that worked. But unfortunately it doesn't.

Maybe provide more information than just saying it doesn't work?
Does the M+ ASIO control panel open and show it's connected?
Have you switched to Controller mode?
Does it appear in Device Manager?
Does it appear as a Windows audio output?

The message says that no connection can be established. I haven't switched to controller mode because I want to record the various tracks from the Maschine+ on individual tracks in Studio One. I don't know if the problem is because even the storage mode doesn't work. The device isn't shown there either. It's also not shown as an audio output in Windows.

If you're asking if you can use M+ in standalone mode and send audio to your computer via USB: The answer is no.
If storage mode doesn't work for you then you may need to try a different usb cable. There are no drivers required for putting it in storage mode.

So if I understand correctly, it is only possible to bring the individual tracks into the DAW via the Maschine software, right? Not like with the MC707, where I can easily display and edit each track individually in Studio One.

I don't know if the problem is because even the storage mode doesn't work.
Did you check the manual just in case ? Working with Storage Devices :
Page 47 :https://www.native-instruments.com/fileadmin/ni_media/downloads/manuals/maschine/MASCHINE_Plus_Manual_English_13_05_2022.pdf
OR
what do I have to set up so that I can use Maschine Plus as an audio interface for eg Studio One
Ref. : Maschine Plus Audio via USB? , Quote :
Unfortunately there is no audio via USB and unfortunately also no automated synchronization between the M+ and the Maschine software. However, you can save the project and manually transfer it to your DAW. Or export as audio and transfer manually. I just swap the SD card between my DAW and the M+.1 -
If what you want to do is having the different groups of a M+ project in Studio One, the only ways are:
Exporting them (but it would be better to solve the storage mode issue first)
Plugging cable from M+ audio outputs to another audio interface used by your computer and record the tracks one by one.
Moving the project from M+ to Maschine desktop software, opening it in Studio One and entering the (not so direct) world of routing things from Maschine plugin to Studio One tracks
M+ doesn’t have audio out through USB (leave alone multiple channels)
But…reading your posts, it seems you have some more issues than that (Maschine is not seen as an audio interface?)1 -
Thank you for your helpful answers! It's a real shame that the Maschine+ is so limited in this regard. The thing with the storage mode is still strange. It works perfectly on another PC. Maybe it's the USB ports on the laptop. No idea. I've tried all three.

You can try asking N.I. Maschine Support for help diagnosing what is the issue.
In case that you need guidance contacting support : How to contact NI Support and How to get in touch with our Customer Care

Thanks, but I think the storage mode thing is bearable for me. I'm already having a problem with support (see my other post here in the forum). They haven't been able to fix the problem with a patch yet.
