DAW can´t find Komplete Kontrol

Hello, i hope somebody can help me.

I have done a lot of Projects in Samplitude Pro X2, X3 … X5 … and i used also Komplete Kontrol as VST Instrument for different Sounds.

Problem: After almost 3 years (i built up a house) i restarted my PC and also updated to Samplitude Pro X8

Now: If i am opening my Projekt (done in 2021) it can´t load / find "Komplete Kontrol, Master". If i will load Komplete kontrol as a new VSTi: it works

does anybody has an idea and can help?

Did you upgrade to Komplete Kontrol 3? If so it's likely that you were using the VST2 version of KK2, but KK3 only has a VST3 version.

If that's the case you can download the older version of Komplete Kontrol from here - https://support.native-instruments.com/hc/en-us/articles/360000313457-Komplete-Kontrol-Legacy-Installers-for-Older-Operating-Systems

Installing that should get your projects loading again. Assuming that works you can update your projects to use the VST3 version of KK2, the once you've done that you can use KK3. KK3 doesn't really give you a whole lot more unless you have a MK3 keyboard so you don't need to rush to update. Just don't hit the "update all" button in Native Access !

additionaly: i can´t find the DLL of Komplete Kontrol. Everything else i can find, but not this one

If you are using Komplete Kontrol 3 it only comes as a VST3 now - these don't have a .dll extension and are found in a different folder just for VST3 plugins
