Hi! Have 2 questions about the upcoming onboard ARP and Note Repeat feature of the Kontrol S MK3 keyboards. When loading Kontakt 8 instrument directly to DAW instrument track (using only Kontakt 8 full version as plugin, without Komplete Kontrol software) and when using the Kontrol S MK3 keyboard's onboard ARP or Note Repeat, will the generated arp (or note repeat) MIDI notes be also recorded into DAW track? If yes, will the chosen time signature in Rate settings of the onboard arp/note repeat of the Kontrol S MK3 keyboard also be automatically synced to the DAW tempo as well? I am asking because there is no mention in the Kontrol S MK3 keyboards manual about syncing MIDI clock between Kontrol S MK3 keyboards and DAW. My DAW is Cubase Artist 14. Thanks!

@mraak47 This is still a work in progress but I can already tell you that yes, there will be a possibility to sync the keybaord to your DAW for the Arp.

Hi Jeremy, thanks for an answer! That's great. But please let me know will the MIDI sync between Kontrol S MK3 keyboards and DAW also work in Note Repeat mode or only in Arp mode? And, the MIDI notes generated by the onboard Arp and Note Repeat will be recorded into DAW's track right? And, the onboard Arp and Note Repeat on Kontrol S MK3 keyboards will also work with third party sampler VSTs loaded as plugin in DAW as well and also over standard 5-pin MIDI output connected to hardware synths or will only work with instruments loaded in Kontakt or Komplete Kontrol? Thanks!

Yes, the MIDI notes will be recorded in the DAW, for the rest, it's still a work in progress, let's wait for the release and I'll be able to answer your questions.

Yes, it will probably be announced in the forum, it will also show in Native Access as an update to the Komplete Kontrol application/plug-in and the Hardware Connection Service. You'll also be notified there's a new firmware update available for the keyboard.
