If you have bought a second hand Maschine Plus, the previous owners shoumd have done a licence transfer for all the attached serials. Previous owner probably had Maschine 2 sofware so this is what you would get in that aspect. If you want Maschine 3 you'll have to purchase the update. If the previous owner did not do that get in ouch with our support right here: https://bit.ly/n1acc

Hi Jeremy, Thank you for your responce. I only recieved the Maschine Plus's serial number and the seller is unresponsive to my communications. They sent me a photo of the message from NI but it only included the Maschine Plus's serial, which is already on the base of the unit. But I recieved no license transfer code. Is there anything I can do about this?

I have invested quite a bit into the Maschine expansions and eco system, which I love, but I would like to use my expansions on my computer also, as I'm a university lecturer in advanced music production and would like to be able to screen record the Maschine software. If I have to buy the software separately that's fine, I will just accept the loss.

Anyway, thank you again for your help and assistance

All this requires access to your account and private data that only my colleagues have access to. My colleagues will get back to you and I'm sure they will accomodate you.

As long as Maschine 3.0 is not available to work on the M+ in standalone mode, you should stick to using Maschine 2 on the desktop as well.

Maschine 3 projects are not compatible with the Maschine+!

    Hello NI-Team,

I am patiently looking forward for the M+ Machine 3.0 (firmware) update. I would be happy about a slightly better information policy about the release time. Other systems and system users are juggling with such features already for some time (even the MK3 Users which makes the M+ Users in a hilarious way the "expensive lower class")

I hope to soon hear some news about the upcoming use in close future as already "late 2024" passed away and "early 2025" is somehow getting late.

kind regards - a patiently waiting NI-User from your neighborhood HH.

@Mplusplusplus you find all provided information in this thread:

But the target dates are rather rough estimates as usual.

Please fix this madness soon. Every time you do a Save As… for sound, it adds another suffix…and another, and another, ad nauseam. Thanks

is there a way to update Maschine + hard wear to 3.0 or it stays on 2.17.5

Currently, 1.5.1 (Maschine 2.17.)5 is the latest update for the Maschine+. An update to bring it to 2.18 is in the works and was planned to be release in Q1/2025 but is likely to be delayed. Supporting Maschine 3 is planned but without a committed release date.

There are several threads about this question, which also contain posts by NI staff.
