Maschine 3 SW - Recording Midi & Velocity Issues

Hey All,

M2 Mac Mini / 8GB RAM / Sequoia 15.1 / M+ Controller Mode

I've noticed a 'potential' bug or maybe just something wonky on my end..?

While in Chords Mode and with Note Repeat (Arp) activated, when I begin to record an arp chord progression, I notice that some of these notes are losing velocity during recording. I'm not pressing the associated pads any lighter. In fact, when I noticed, I pressed harder to ensure full velocity.

The quick fix for this, of course, activating Fixed Velocity.

Just wanted to bring this up in case anyone can duplicate or if its just me.

Here is a pic of the lower velocities. No rhyme or reason.

Can you list exact reproduction Steps?

I also have issues but not quite the same, for me the when decreasing the finger pressure by a lot only affects every few notes, while others remain the original first velocity:

It's also quite awkward that when using Chord Sets instead of the Chord Harmoniser pressure doesn't change anything, only the first Pad press pressure/velocity matters all the following stay the same velocity.

Latest version of everything, Sequoia 15.1.1.

I’d say very similar behavior, if not exact. You probably did a better job describing the issue.

Maschine 3 SW doesn’t appear to be checking for Pad Pressure during recording in Chord Mode with Note Repeat (ARP) activated. I’m no coder, but perhaps ensuring the software checks for Pad Pressure every millisecond maybe??? At least during recording.

Again, not a programmer, just applying some logic in hopes to help troubleshoot.
