Grid nudge fixed in most recent update?

This was an issue for a few updates and has kept me on 4.0.0. Is it fixed in the latest update?

No one checked or noticed yes/no?

I did not notice adjusting grid problems in 4.1.0. I used my S4 with my mod that includes the complete range of grid related functions and have fixed all of my current troublesome grids (at least twenty in a row) without once using the mouse and Traktor's GUI.

All good, but i haven't checked extensively if the GUI/Mouse controls work right.

Note: to adjust a gridmarker, you must have the playposition in the right position, so at the exact position of the gridmarker or later, but before the next gridmarker.

    A

    Appreciate the reply, thanks.

So to my understanding it's still broken if you have to have the playhead in a specific position for it to work.

    What?

No, if you have a single gridmarker, the playhead postition can be anywhere because the first gridmarker's 'sphere of control' ends at the next (non-existing) grimarker, i.e. the end of the track, while the 'sphere' starts at the beginning of the track. Only when you have more than one gridmarker, the second and subsequent 'spheres' start at the corresponding second and subsequent gridmarkers.

Aha! My bad, I'm still on TP3!….and it def got borked on that. I can see how what you're saying makes sense in terms of 4's pseudo-flexible grid. That said, in 4, if you have say 3 diff tempo markers, does sliding the grid left or right for ie marker 2 not move 1 and 3 at all? Just trying to get my head round how it's implemented.

    Thanks for your patience ;)

You move the gridmarkers one at a time.

Also, when you change the bpm value of a gridmarker where another gridmarker is to the right side, the bpm will jump so that there is an integer number of beats to the next gridmarker. So, on many occastions it is recommended to not use just a single gridmarker when the track tempo changes, but rather two. The first to end the first tempo stretch, the second to start the second tempo stretch, with a variable connecting tempo stretch between. You will know what i mean when you try it.
