Unable to Select My Kontrol S61 MK3 in Maschine 3

I am only able to connect to my Maschine MK3 hardware but I am not able to connect to my Kontrol S61 MK3. I had a firmware update today that updated successfully and since then I can't even connect it as a controller in Komplete Kontrol. Not sure if anyone else is having this issue.

    Is everything functional in Komplete Kontrol in standalone? Did you also update the Hardware Connection Service to 1.8.7? Is the keyboard selected as a MIDI input?

    Hi Jeremy,

    In Komplete Kontrol the keyboard is visible and checked for both in and out

    I am also running Komplete Kontrol as an administrator.

    The firmware says that it was installed successfully and the integration was all working fine before I updated the Hardware Connection service (to 1.8.7) and the firmware update.

    I also uninstalled and reinstalled the Hardware Connection Service as that was the only other thing I could think to do. Basically the keyboard is a brick. Similar things have happened before and usually within a day both the Hardware Connection and Firmware get updates and then everything is fine. I am surprised that there is no way to hard reset. I have not changed my cables or anything.

    @nikkipixel I'm a bit confused, you mentioned Maschine 3 in the title.

    Does the keyboard work as expected in Komplete Kontrol in standalone?

    Are you able to select the Kontrol MK3 in Maschine 3's MIDI preferences? My screenshots were coming from Maschine 3.

    Do you have other MIDI devices connected?

    I started with Maschine 3 because that is where I first noticed the issue. I just purchased it and was excited to use the integration between that and my S61 MK3.

    I went back to Komplete Kontrol to see if the problem existed there as well which it does. Keyboard is visible and checked for both in and out in Maschine 3:

    Cannot connect the S61 in Hardware or from the controller menu. Screen on the S61 is Default MIDI template.

    Right now I only have the S61 MK3 connected. I WAS able to connect my Maschine MK3 hardware with no issues but not the S61 anywhere. No other interfaces are connected to my computer just S61 and my Focusrite. Again I hadn't changed anything in the way the S61 was connected to my computer before installing the updates yesterday the S61 was fine.

    And forgot to mention I am on a Windows 11 computer. All updates to the OS have been applied

    I can connect my S61 MK3 with the Maschine 3.0 on my desktop, but not in my DAW (Ableton). It does not give me an option to select my keyboard, just the MK2. Weird! I updated everything as well. Can anyone help me out here??? I want to use it in my DAW recordings.

    At the moment the integration of the MK3 keyboard is only possible in Maschine 3.0 in standalone. Integration with the Maschine 3 plug-in in a DAW will come in a future update.
