Massive X v1.4.1 Standalone?

I just updated to Massive X V1.4.0, installed to my standard locations:

...and when I go into that installation location to shortcut the MassiveX.exe to my desktop as SAL, there is nothing there:

I can launch it in the KK wrapper SAL, from inside my DAW as a VSTi, and from inside my DAW in the KK wrapper. [Win10 Pro, 21H2, build 19044.1706]

Did I miss something in the new release notes or is it no longer SAL?

This was my complete idiocy. After the update just now, I was missing a big yellow desktop icon in my grouping for all NI SAL apps so I thought it was Massive X that had disappeared. Controller Editor got deleted from the desktop, and move everything else up, leaving a space right below Massive and Native Access.

Maybe I need to clean my glasses.

[Edit] I figured out that it was the custom Icon I built for the Controller Editor that was missing. (thankfully I take screenshots of my desktop occasionally!).

    Thanks @EvilDragon !

Sorry for hijacking the thread, but I noticed that my desktop icon for Controller Editor went MIA as well when I updated (I think) Komplete Kontrol or Maschine 2.

Curious, why did that happened? Was it an intentional change?

I only had Massive X, Massive library, and Komplete Kontrol updates at the time that mine disappeared, but Windows Explorer also date-stamped my CE directory at the same time, so... it may be that they snuck in a minor update to CE without mentioning it. And deleted the desktop icon in the process.
