Any way to copy and paste MIDI assignments?

When in the MIDI assignment editor I can't find a way to copy and paste MIDI assignments. Is there some way to do this? It would save a lot of work given that you might want to have the same name on buttons and knobs but different zones and color codings.

    Hello,

what do you mean specifically, your s88 mk2 with the editor within komplete kontrol? That would maybe help to answer your question. But as far as i understand your question, that´s not possible, you can´t copy those pages.

Yes, that's right. In this editor I haven't been able to see any option for copying and pasting. But if I'm not mistaken this was also the case in previous versions of Kontakt but you could still use the standard keyboard shortcuts for copying and pasting.

    Thanks for letting me know!

Is there a different way besides the tedious way of making new assignments from scratch?

The Controller Editor, can it be used for the same purposes?

What about the Creator Tools? I guess this one makes higher demands on the user?

On the controller editor you could do that, but that does not work with that keyboard. And creator tools is for creating kontakt instruments so no mapping as far as I know.

Unfortunately all of the templates are in a single data file.

However for those of us, who are crazy enough 🤓 to edit JSON files, there is a way. So only consider the following at your own risk ⚠️ There's no support for doing this kind of stuff!
