Please add the ability to automate effects on komplete kontrol

When using the komplete kontrol software: currently (within a daw) you can only automate the instrument and the effects that come with it, but if i add an effect onto that instrument, while you are able to change the effects per usual, automation is impossible and not recognised by a daw (Like ableton, FL Studio).


Edit to clarify:

I mean when trying to automate using the keyboard ( i am using the mk3 S88, but the problem consists with every keyboard used with komplete kontrol) in ableton.

When clicking the "Auto" button and clicking "record" on the keyboard after loading an instrument and turn one of the 8 knobs on the keyboard, automation works fine. 

The problem lies when navigating to the "effects" tab in the browser, because when repeating all steps mentioned before (clicking the "auto" button, then record) and turn the knobs, nothing automates and instead keeps the base value i left the knob as.

    Use Kontakt 7 Player instead if you need better instrument automation features.

    As for the effects. put any effect into the fx rack of a DAW, such as Guitar Rig and automate it's effects.

    Yes this is a longstanding feature request- absurd really that it is not possible

    Anyone know if this (effect automation) is ever going to be implemented? Is this something NI is still working on or have they simply abandoned this feature?


    Would like to know because I’m considering purchasing a Nektar CS-12 which accomplishes this quite well from all the reviews I’ve read, at least for Logic

    Unlikely simply based on the count so far of pretty much zero user requested featured being implemented in the past 10 years, can't see them starting to pay attention to user requests now…

    Consequence of this would be to have a Komplete Kontrol FX Plugin. It was onve the case with Kore 2 longtime ago 😃🥲

    both are needed, as is the ability to save fx chains

    This is just basic stuff - I still find it incomprehensible that KK was ever released with fx support without these 3 things - apart from live playing fx are mostly pointless in KK imho at the moment

    i dont understand that N.I doesnt go again this direction. Softube shows right now the huge success with Console 1 and Fader for Mixing and Mastering. Native Instruments has already FX Nks available and could make a pretty decent impact on marketing FX Automation. These are so called low hanging fruits to pick imo…

    Exactly, and between myself and several others we have mapped almost the whole UADx collection plus many other effects that could be used for mastering except there is no point in using them without an fx version of KK that can be controlled by automation. Also you have things like Ozone in there going to waste really because FX support is so inkomplete

    No wonder Softube seem to have given up on NKS
