Arturia Plugins stepping in KK (KBDSW-7915)

When opening in KK standalone or the KK plugin in my DAW, on most of my Arturia Plugins like Pigments, Minimoog V4 etc. there is a weird stepping, when I move the knobs, either with the KK Potis or with mouse. this only happens when open in KK.

When opening the plugins on their own in my DAW, the problem is not there.

What's your operating system? Can you share a video of the issue?

@Motion Drive I can definiltely reproduce the issue for Pigments but not other Arturia plug-ins, or maybe I can't really notice. Do you have specific presets where you can reproduce this issue.

Ok, so it seems the stepping is on several arturia Plugins, but its not behaving the same or as extrem as on Pigments. The easiest way to hear it, is to put in a INIT-Sound, crank the resonance up and move the filter. With the following Plugins im getting a stepping kinda chirping sound from the filter. Still stepping as on pigments, but with a finer resolution. it then sounds like wistling or something.

    Acid V

    CS-80 V4

    JUN-6 V

    Korg MS-20 V

    MINI V

    MINIBRUTE V

    Minifreak V

    OP-XA V

    Prophet 5 V

    SEM V

Here again some videos to show the problem. Again…all this is happening in KK only and not when opening the plugins on their own.

I tried to reproduce it on my M1 MacBook Pro and there was no stepping. I hope a solution is found soon!

Don't hesitate to get back to this thread if you want to have an update. This one might take a little while to get fixed, there are other prioritized bugs already. Please share any info from Arturia when you get it, it might speed up the process.

Just as a Update…I did get in contact with Arturia and they sendet me several suggestions to try out. Mostly graphic issues…like resizing the GUI size to 80%, updating the GPU Driver, rescaling Windows to 100% etc. Beside that I did clean the preferences in the Arturia Software Center and "Disable" or "Enable" the Multi Core Function.

Well…none of that solved the issue. As of now…almost all Arturia plugins have this stepping behaviour, Pigments being the worst.

its really a shame, as Arturia is the only Company, that implementet the new NKS Standart for all their plugins incl. the edit function. unfortunatley I cant use any of my favourite plugins, as they all have the stepping.

To me, thats really a huge bug, that should be solved asap.

I have the same problem on macOS Sonoma 14.6.1 with an Apple M2 Pro Mac mini running Ableton Live 12. I first noticed the issue after installing Komplete Kontrol 3.3.2. The Arturia plugin that's really bad for me is Matrix-12 V, but I also get the stepping in Pigments but it's not quite as bad. I'm not really noticing it in any others, including those in the OP's list.
