Kontakt Full ?

I bought Kontakt Factory Selection in 2018, as it was called back then and which included Kontakt. Now all of a sudden some of my libraries don't work because, as they say, I don't have Kontakt Full.

Has anyone had this problem, and how did you resolve it? Do I really have to buy Kontakt AGAIN after 6 years of use?

    You are correct. "Selection" is just that - a free smattering of the available Kontakt "Factory" libraries. Which would work perfectly within Kontakt Player.

    I also did not think that "Selection" was even something you could be able to purchase?

    One thing is for sure - highly unlikely that this "sampler" would include a licence for Kontakt Full.

    If it did - it would be the deal of the year and everyone would have been all over it.

    If you did an update to Kontakt 7 which would be an automatic upgrade, some of your old libraries may not have been updated to the new scheme being used in Kontakt 7. Look in Native Access and see what versions you have and which ones you're loading in your project. The latest valid Kontakt is 6.8.0 and the latest Kontakt 7 is 7.10.6. Also the latest version of Native Access is 3.13.0.

    Does Kontakt Factory Selection include the full Kontakt? I might be wrong but I thought it was just a selection from the Kontakt library plus Kontakt Player? After all it’s now free with Komplete Start so I presume it was never the price of Kontakt full?

    Are the libraries asking for full Kontakt non player libraries?
