S61 Mk3 No MIDI Mode
The mark 3 S-series keyboards were released on Sept. 12th 2023.
THREE HUNDRED SEVENTEEN DAYS LATER I still can't use its MIDI mode to customize links to integrate with my daw. There STILL isn't any controller editor in the Komplete Kontrol program. The same exact thing that was ALREADY ESTABLISHED with the Mk2 keyboards; was just taken out of KK and not replaced, for some unknown reason. I have a keyboard with half its functionality almost a YEAR LATER! Something I paid FULL PRICE for at the point of sale. FULL PRICE FOR HALF A KEYBOARD!
When I'm not running KK this is STILL what I'm presented with:
Default MIDI Template? What the hell am I supposed to do with that? Where is our MIDI Template editor???
I've noticed you've been real busy developing new products to keep that sweet gold flowing in. With that size of development team you could have programmed in the template editor in a single day but chose not to. I wonder if the European Union authorities are aware that you advertise big-ticket items as finished products then proceed to openly rob unsuspecting customers; them being ignorant of its incomplete software development at the time of sale.

As you know, MIDI Templates are in active beta at the moment. There exists no such claim online that Kontrol S MK3 supports that feature at this moment.
As you may also have seen - I've maintained an open invite to any user on this forum who'd like to participate in that beta.
Tens and tens of them have done so, reached out to me, and been actively participating in this beta for many weeks.
If you'd like to join - let us know.
If not, then you may wait until the feature launches, a date which is increasingly close (planned for next week).

I didn't know it was already in beta, my fault. I looked before making this post and didn't find anything.
With the official release so close, think I will wait for that, to avoid setting it up twice. It will be a big project.
Also recently cashed in on Komplete Ultimate 14, Guitar Rig 7 Pro and Traktor Pro 4. And have an M32 coming in the mail to replace that godawful FL Key Mini. So I now have more to do than time to do it.Next week I'll keep an eye on here for the release. You could delete out this thread if you want; it's pointless now. Thank you very much.

It's not really your fault at all @SuperTRev . I've posted around as much as I can, but at the same time, posts can and do get lost in forums. Added to which, your frustration at the wait is absolutely valid.

The M32 is so adorable! 😍
It's like a little baby S series. 🥰 Fits nice on the left side of my desk too.
The FLS transport controls actually work without having to fight with it. The piano keys are nice and springy. Surprising considering their size. Although the buttons and encoder button are of course way too hard to press. 😅 No surprises there.
No idea what the encoder is supposed to do. Move by minute, instead of by bar?
You guys could have just made it send / and *. The encoder left right could have been move by bar (Alt + /) and (Alt + *). Don't see a patt/song button either. Shocking. Looks like I will have to do this one too when we get the MIDI editor.0
