    You use Windows? As I use a Mac I didn't need to install additional software. Virtual MIDI is just there.

    My apologies , I don't have any of the units and were not sure if I could locate sufficient information anyway about the units that you have. I don't know if it will help using VirtualMidi ports .

    hey dude do you think that will solve the play/stop issue im having?

    Its linked with ableton link so im abler to do snare rolls and sample triggering but i cant play patterns and scenes without having to press play on maschine at the exact time which across a set is just not doable and goes against what im trying to do which is sync it all up and perform live.

    Any help at this point is massiveley appreciated 🙏

    If You are using Ableton Link in Traktor and Maschine (Ableton Link activated in both applications), there is no need to press play in perfect sync. Actually You can press play OUT OF SYNC and the Maschine will start play at the start of the phase (the moving blue bar bellow the LINK button in Traktor, or the gray bar in Maschine under the LINK button). This phase meter moves 4 beats per phase and Maschine will start play at the start of the phase, not in the middle of it. And it will run in sync with the phase and beat.

    And of course You can use Ableton Link in many applications on the same computer at the same time and actually in the same network on many different computers to keep in sync. The phrase will be same on all devices linked with Ableton Link.

    Hey guys after days and countless hours trying i have finally got it working with everything in sync. It's a work around as all the other thing i tried including ableton link did not work (by which i mean maschine wasnt playing so the scenes & patterns were not working) so here is what i did..

    I followed this turtorialhttps://support.native-instruments.com/hc/en-us/articles/209590629-How-to-Send-a-MIDI-Clock-Sync-Signal-in-TRAKTOR in the Traktor Pro 3 section (this also works in the new pro 4)

    Then when i click the play button inside of Traktor it sends midi clock to the maschine and it plays, then just turn the metronome on the maschine and press play on traktor match it up and away you go..

    Its not perfect by any means because its not playing maschine when i hit play in traktor this was the only way and for me its fine for now until i can get a maschine +
