why does ni want me to buy traktor pro4 if already own x1 mk3

    How long do you own your x1 mk3? Until yesterday product page stated that it comes with Traktor Pro 3 which you got. Just read in another thread here that it was a free upgrade for a user registered on last Friday. But if you have your X1 Mk3 several weeks or months or even already got it last year you'll have to pay for the upgrade as everyone else. Same for useres of S2 Mk3 or S3 which are on the market now for several years. Buying from today (or yesterday) it includes Traktor Pro 4 until then only Traktor Pro 3. (Expect same for Z1 and S4 Mk3 but here product pages are still say TP3 is included just right now.)

    but that's not fare at all because they should include pro 4 as we both bought the same product literally that's a robbery

    no it's not fair the banana will be finished today but the device is staying for me + the flx 4 got updated to rekordbox 7 for free and the one buying x1 mk3 is the same as i have so i have the right to download it for free

    Rekordbox has a different pricing system.

    For example if you use the older R line controller (Rx, rz etc.) it does not unlock rb7 any more and they will have to buy a monthly subscription.

    In the end, someone has to pay. Does not matter if it's rekordbox subscription or traktor one time payment.

    i am with you as they are old product but the x1 is new + and in the site they say if you buy x1 you will take pro 4 so as i have the same device i also should take for free you understand my point?

    you didn't get the point i mean that the same product of rekordbox (flx 4) will get updated to rekordbox 7 so if new buyers of x1 mk3 get pro 4 the old buyers of the same product should also take it

    Re: Rekordbox 7 - users of some Pioneer equipment got lucky, but others got locked out. The only way for them to continue using Rekordbox 7 with their equipment is to pay a monthly fee.

    Back when Rekordbox updated from 5 to 6, users who had paid for a license to use certain addons discovered that they could no longer use those addons (even though they bought a license) without paying a subscription.

    Well you have to draw the line somewhere. If you say all X1 Mi3 users should get TP4 for free you have to do the same for all S2 Mk3, S3, S4 Mk3 and Z1 users. They all bought the same product as anyone who buys it today.

    Doesn‘t really make sense for me. You opted to buy that hardware with TP3 and were fine with it. No one advertised yo will get a free update on TP4 (or even TP5 at some later point). You got what was advertised and what you paid for at tome of purchase.

    BTW: For the S series controllers there was a price increase. S4 Mk3 for example was 999€ long time and is now 1049€.

    I have purchased yesterday morning a x1 mk3. After adding it to my account, I can't use TP 4.
    Still no reply from customer support through the live chat, maybe I'm stuck in a limbo there 😅
