Imposcar 3 was working in KK up until I decided to test it in Ableton Live where I confirmed the same issue we have had for years, the GUI does not show!

While that was not unexpected, I now launch STANDALONE KK and what do I find, the GUI is now not even displaying there for EITHER VST2 or VST3 versions.

I have also reinstalled Imposcar, reinstalled KK, deleted all appdata files, rescanned and nothing works, it is fried now.

I expect no actual resolution, just pointing out yet again how terrible this software has become and what kind of experience users can expect if you decide to invest into this world, a miserable and unreliable one…

My experience for the past 10 years have been frustrating. I thought mk3 was going to be a good purchase. for almost a year it's a stand for my PC keyboard.. since March 2024 it's been announced all features that should have been with the original release.. now it middle of July and not one step closer to a finished product.. I definitely will not purchase anything in the near future. All I keep hearing is beta testing.. we have been in beta testing for 10 months now.. I have been on vacation for over 2 weeks now and not one single bug fix or Firmware release.

"I have been on vacation for over 2 weeks now and not one single bug fix or Firmware release."

The development team has been working on a big and complex MIDI Templates feature project. The build is or should be in the Beta testing stages now, and might be released in the coming week or two.

I know, I know…they should have checked with you first to see what your vacation schedule was going to be so that they could have given you something when you got back. There's just no excuse for that! 😏

All sarcastic humor aside, the upcoming update will be a big one. And it will be here when it gets here, and probably not a moment sooner than that.

And after that, we will have to wait for the NEXT thing to go through development, testing, and beta testing too. These releases are just not going to suddenly go to 2 week intervals to meet your schedule or mine. It's just not going to happen, no matter how much we wish, pray, plead, or do a rain dance, or my favorite, a tango.

We need to keep our grace muscle strong. I'm lining up a couple of training courses, so that I will have something to show for all the waiting. And maybe I'll play some more computer games while I wait. Because why not, right?

so at that rate, a year to develop each feature, we may have things like accessibility functionality (which was a feature for 8 years already) back in the keyboard by 2040. May even be lucky enough to get a bug fix in as well.

Some may say, something like the basics of a midi template would have been available on release, not a year later. One only needs to look at the changelog for KK V2 to know the wait ahead… we should be way beyond putting the basics BACK IN after 10 years and having some actual innovative advancements but things have gone backwards not forwards and it will be years to see change, years many of us have been waiting already. But yeah, let’s just continue to wait indefinatelly with blind hope.

Lucky it's infinite, still unsure that gives the devs enough time to make any progress tho.
