Can you try to uninstall both Native Access and the NTKDaemon: How to Uninstall Native Instruments Software from a Windows Computer

Then install the C++ package https://aka.ms/vs/17/release/vc_redist.x64.exe

Then download and install Native Access again: https://www.native-instruments.com/en/specials/native-access-2/

Install > NA

It works on my Win10, i7! Thanks @flownez !

@Jeremy_NI — So for those of us that cannot start NA do we need to uninstall anything first? Or do we just download the update and install it on top of the defective 3.12.0?

I honestly don't understand why NI insists on these Auto-Updates. Same thing like with the last update, so much frustration on the user part…

Unfortunately it still doesn't work for me... NA 3.12.0 nor NA 3.12.1.... is driving me crazy!

After having completely uninstalled NA and NTKDaemon with REVO uninstaller,
installed C++ package https://aka.ms/vs/17/release/vc_redist.x64.exe
the installation of NA 3.12.x does not seem to want to install the dependencies (thus NTKDaemon) even with my Antivirus (Kaspersky Internet Security) disabled.
A manual launch of "C:\Program Files\Native Instruments\Native Access\resources\daemon\winNTKDaemon 1.19.0 Setup PC.exe" changes nothing...

Any idea how to solve this situation?

My only solution is to restore my System backup to get back to NA v3.11.1 which works...

UPDATED :
I've found a solution…

Create a new admin user on my PC
NA v3.12.x installs and runs normally, NI apps seen fine
Revert to my default admin user
NA v3.12.x doesn't start but NI applications still work

Go to NI Support

Run the VC_redist.x64.exe. Restart the pc, NA opens correctly !

After an automatic update, Native Access no longer works here either. Completely uninstalling and a fresh reinstallation does not work either.

I've done that several times. Version 3.12.1 refuses to start with Windows 10.
