How to create a constant volume crossfade?

I've tried the standard crossfade as well as the parabolic crossfade, and they are both giving me a noticeable volume dip in the center at 50/50.
Whats the best way to create a constant volume crossfader for mixing 2 signale where the center 50/50 point will maintain both signals full volume?

I ended up doing something very similar with a 3 point x fade and a multiply on the outputs, working great.
