    I am trying to do screan capture video's with audio.I thought this was a windows 11 issue. but all other app's I have work 100% of the time in there screen video / audio capture app's . I tried using the mk3 as audio device - still won't work when playing a mashine song I recorded , but will play everything through the mk3. same thing with a focusrite . I tried changing every possible audio setting in windows and in the app's - nothing will make it work, and I do have the latest driver for mashine studio app. - Processors : Intel Core i9-14900K 24-Cores 3.2GHz (6.0GHz TurboBoost)
    Motherboard : MSI PRO Z790-A MAX WIFI
    Memory : 64GB CORSAIR DOMINATOR TITANUM RGB DDR5 (2x32GB) 6000MT/s

    Hard Drive : 2TB Samsung 990 PRO

    What are you recording with? For example, if you're using asio drivers in maschine and trying to screen capture using something like OBS; then you're going to need do do some sort of workaround to get the audio into OBS. On my system, I'd use the loopback function in my audio interface.

    OBS - won't work when playing a song in mashine studio with the MK3 - you cane hear the audio as normal over the monitors, but OBS and a built in capture app in widows called game bar capture won't work . all other things will work like MPEG videos ( that are on my hard dive ) , youtube videos , mp3's . Does mk3 have a " loopback " setting ? Or do I need another app for that ? Thanks Ron

    I don't have a mk3 and haven't used my M+ as an interface on my computer. That said, I doubt it has the same kind of loopback function. I've never used any of the loopback software, so I can't comment on any of them. I think the one people talk about all the time is called voicemeter.

    You may want to consider asking this over in an OBS forum.

    As @darkwaves suggested, you need an audio routing software, like https://voicemeeter.com/ on Windows and https://www.rogueamoeba.com/loopback/ for Mac.

    I found yesterday that only certain Focusrite interface's have the loopback function - I just order a gen to see if I can make it work.
