Is it possible to use Pioneer CRSS12's in "tonearmless" mode with Traktor?

Basically just as the title reads - I really want to get these decks to have a super streamlined hybrid home setup, but I can't find any conclusive answer one way or the other as to wether the timecode they spit out can be read by Traktor… I have always used Traktor and intend to stay that way!

Hopefully someone at NI can let me know? And if not, is it likely to come at anypoint down the line?

    It's serato and rekordbox only.

And I would imagine it's a HID signal and not timecode. But that is just a guess.

I don't expect it will work. AFAIK the Traktor timecode signal is different and higher pitched as most other systems. At least my Traktor doesn't work reliable with Serato timecode vinyls. Haven't tried rekordbox ones as I don't have one. Don't think AlphaTheta will make theses devices Traktor compatible anytime.

In short, no, it doesn't work. And it's unlikely that it will ever be possible.

    Thanks for the responses guys.

It begs the question though, why not just convert the signal? Both companies could do this relatively easily. Guess Ill just save money and get PLX1000s with timecode vinyl or Phase. Ill be P'd off if something changes though, those decks are super sexy.

    Cheers

AlphaTheta already has rekordbox and works pretty well with Serato for years - altough the takeover of serato is challenged and will therefore won‘t finish. There were only very few Traktor controllers by Pioneer DJ. On the other hand NI has its own controllers. Both companies don‘t see the need for it. Both want to protect their own ecosystems.

I would recommend you the RP 8000 MKII from Reloop in this case and probably Phase on top.
