Voucher when bying a Komplete Keyboard???
Hi, I am contemplating bying a Komplete S61 MK3 keyboard but have a question regarding one statement where NI claims you also get:
- Kontakt instrument of your choice (voucher up to $499)
What does "up to" mean????
The prize is €849.00. Is there a percentage of the total amount or do I actualle get a voucher for €499.00? If so, what will my voucher be if I buy the keyboard?
It also says Free shipping to Norway and shipping within 1 - 2 businessdays.
Anyone from Norway who has ordered hardware from NI website?
If so, how long did it take to arrival?

It means that when you register the keyboard they will email you with a voucher code to use in the NI store to get 100% off the price of a Kontakt instrument (e.g. Noire, Straylight, etc.) costing €499 or less.
From what I remember, the store is a little "choosy" about what you can use the voucher for - it has to be a single instrument (no bundles even if they are less than €499), can't already be on offer, NI products only, etc. I don't think you can buy something costing more than €499 and pay the difference either.

It is exactly as you described. NI vendor products only, no bundles and up to €499 listed price.
I claimed Vocal Colours myself, so it certainly works. The coupon landed at my mailbox few days after registering the controller.

So I can't, for examle put 3 products in the Shopping cart that amounts to a total, let's say €450.00 (less then €499.00? This is at best, a really bad way of communicating to customers from NI :(. Maybe somebody from NI can clarify???

Why bad way of communicating? It literally says “Kontakt Instrument of your choice up to €499”. Means one single library no pricier than €499, no?

Hm I work with marketing myself and a huge part of My job is to make sure that everything we put in writing can not be misunderstood. No where does it Say that a voucher is limited to 1 - one product only. Thats What I mean by not very good Communication.

Maybe its just me. They do Say Kontakt instrument (not instruments). I’ll give them that. But I would have written:
- 1 - one Kontakt instrument of your choice (voucher up to $499)

I agree that it would make it more clear. What should be stipulated is that this is for NI made libraries only. So certainly there’s room for improvement there 😉

I agree, it could be much clear. Also worth noting that now that the "Summer of Sound" promotion has started, pretty much all Kontakt instruments will be excluded until it ends.

This e-voucher is valid for one Native Instruments Kontakt instrument in the NI Online Shop worth less than $499. It is NOT valid on updates, upgrades, crossgrades, edu licenses, hardware and NKS partner products.
That seems crystal clear to me. It lasts for 6 months so should still be valid until after the sale, except if someone has left it 5 months to decide that is.

Really? I haven’t noticed the information that it only applies to NI libraries. There are libraries from other vendors available for purchase at NI website.

I was referring to what you quoted

is exactly what it says is in their email with the voucher except it also states it must be a Native Instruments Kontakt Instrument
However in relation to your point, they also state:
It is NOT valid on updates, upgrades, crossgrades, edu licenses, hardware and NKS partner products.
Which I think covers the rest
