No audio using Kontakt 7

Using Kontakt 7, version 7.10.2, I don't have any audio. Instruments seem to load ok. I don't have any sound when clicking on a preset either. Audio in other programs works fine. I'm running Windows 11. Any ideas what I need to do to be able to hear the instruments? Thanks!

    if you have that problem with kontakt stand alone, then check the preferences and there the audio tab:

    Step 1 matches what I have. In step 2, I notice that under Options, Audio, after Device Driver Configuration, I don't have anything whereas in your example it says ASIO config (which matches the driver selection). Does that make a difference? (newbie here, so sorry if that is dumb question)

    Sounds like you either do not have an audio interface configured or your do not have one at all.

    Need one to hear anything.

    If you set "driver" to something else do you see then an entry under "device". It might be the case, that you don't have a proper audio interface with a proper driver as asio on windows as @Vocalpoint already said.

    Nothing changed when I changed the entry under "device." I'm thinking I don't have an audio interface. Off to the computer supply store. Thanks for your help!!
