Mashine doesn't connect - system won't work

downloaded software. Mashine doesn't connect. Sometimes I can get a orange light in the lower left pad. Sometimes all the pads are lit but nothing recognizes nothing.

    Redownload your firmware with the device unplugged!

    You really have to help yourself and provide info if you want help from others...

    Windows or Mac? OS Version? Which Controller are you talking about? Which Maschine version did you install? Is the firmware up to date?

    What does "nothing recognizes nothing" mean? Is the screen stuck at the Maschine logo or does it actually connect to the software but doesn't work when you press buttons?

    Sorry it's windows. The controller is Mashine Mikro MK3. Now when I plug it in and open the contoller editor software the Mashine says 'Midi mode'. All the pads are yellow and they light up when you press them.

    Ok. Do you wish to use it as a generic MIDI Controller for your DAW or do you want to control Maschine software?

    To use it natively, you need to use the Maschine software or VST with FL Studio. I'd recommend using the Maschine standalone first to learn the ins and outs.

    If you want to use it as a controller, it needs to be in midi mode, I assume there are some FL Studio templates and/or scripts so you dont have to set it up from scratch like there is for Abelton Live.

    As well as that youtube is your friend there are fantastic how to's on there just for the Mikro, from setting up and using it.

    @fiddy What happens when you load the Maschine software? Does it open? Is the Maschine Mikro MK3 recognized?

    If it works there, now try to open the Maschine plug-in in FL Studio, is it working then?
