my setup is an iMac with apple silicon, to a Komplete audio 2, then to my studio monitors, it’s been working perfectly for years, but last week, all of a sudden, it has very low volume…

I tried updating, restarting, resetting NVRAM, login into another user account on my Mac, I tried changing cables, changing ports, all failed

i tried connecting my komplete audio 2/studio monitors (Yamaha hs) to another mac(MacBook), normal volume, so why’s it so quiet when connected to my iMac?

have you guys experience this before?

Can you check in your Audio & MIDI setup, found in Applications -> Utilities

Is the volume all the way up?

some key combination or key commands can change the volume or some little icon somewhere normally looking like a speaker, under it or on it you can change the volume too

    Hello,

have you checked the whole path of the audio stream, I guess mac has a mixer like windows too, I would try to check there first.
