komplete Kontrol update
I have a S49 series 1 keyboard and am am still on version 2.9.6? of KK as advised.
Native Access still shows an update to a newer version which I am told will not work with S49 series 1.
Is there a way to stop this update being offered in NA?
If not, please get NA to scan for hardware and therefore, in my case, not offer the update.
I am sure there are many people who are happy to remain on a series 1 kboard.
I am a pensioner and cannot afford a new series 3 kboard but am happy to remain with series 1.
Thank you.

As long as NI continues to support KK 2.9.6 we should be golden.
I purchased a brand new S61 MK2 less than 2 years ago and there's zero reason to update to KK3 for me either as most of its features only work on the new mk3 keyboards.
As far as native access showing the update is available, just ignore it. No real advantage to have it silenced.

I have my S49 MK2 working perfectly alongside my S88 MK3 using KK 3.2.0. Works perfectly and is very convenient.

I'm not saying S series MK2 keyboards don't work with KK3, just that it's primarily focused towards S series MK3 keyboards and NKS2 which MK2's don't support and never will.
For me KK 2.9.6 browser is superior as it stands right now along with some other features KK3 has changed for the worse but that's another story.

Thank you all for your answers to my question, although I feel they are opinions based on what you are using now rather than answers.
@ Reefius, I am aware of what you suggest, but NI should be doing it 'legal' - all good :)
However, I guess it is my opinion, that NI should tidy this up. I have already heard about people inadvertently clicking the 'update all' button not just relevant updates, accidents happen...
c'est la vie

People usually do not like me writing this but still if wanting to stick with a setup like yours and since one wrong click can screw up so much then you should always have a image based system drive backup to revert to ! (Anyone ought to have that , but especially in a situation like your use example)

People are often focused on what they are unhappy with rather than appreciating that in the actual situation then taking a backup is often a very good advice and a very good attitude to take. I also think that many people unjustifiably thinks me an apologist if suggesting a get the best out of the situation attitude (supported by backup security).
